UI/UX Designer

As a UI/UX designer at VirgoCX, located in ON, I have had the privilege of working closely with the design lead and product team. Our collective goal is to enhance the company's website, new features/products on our trading platform, and app user interfaces to provide a seamless and consistent user experience.

My role involves actively participating in the company's new product launches and engaging in consecutive design projects. These projects encompass various design challenges, conceptualization, and the creation of low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity user interfaces. Daily tasks also include website and app maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.

In addition to the core responsibilities, I have collaborated with the Marketing team and Wealth team to design and produce visual communication assets that effectively promote the company's branding and products. This includes the creation of posters, flyers, assets for major events, social media campaigns, digital publications, and other marketing materials.

Working at VirgoCX has not only allowed me to enhance my hard skills as a designer but has also exposed me to a fast-paced work environment. It has provided numerous opportunities for cross-team collaboration, enabling me to work alongside colleagues from different departments and gain valuable insights from their expertise.

Given the privacy, confidentiality, and policies of the company, I am unable to disclose any specific details regarding the work process or projects related to the company's products, website, or app. However, I can provide examples of graphic designs that have been created to promote the company's branding and products, as well as materials developed for major events such as Collisions and The Futurist Conference. These examples will demonstrate my skills and capabilities as a designer, while still aligning to the company's guidelines and maintaining confidentiality.
