About Me
My name is Kejia Zhao, but I prefer to be called Aviss. I am a UI/UX designer and provisional registered graphic designer based in Toronto, Canada. I completed my studies in Interaction Design & Development at George Brown College.
I have a great passion for creating visually appealing designs and enjoy combining strategic design thinking with problem-solving approaches to create design experiences. During my time in school, I had been lucky to have a multidisciplinary education and explore various fields of study. Currently, I work as a full-time UI/UX designer at VirgoCX in Ontario. Valuable experience through my job as well as former contract projects has enriched my practice as a designer.
Design is a challenging yet exciting field, and I am always eager to learn and expand my knowledge. As part of this pursuit, I am working towards completing a degree in design at Thompson Rivers University.
Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for cultural activities. I enjoy traveling, watching movies, and exploring the diverse range of fun experiences and delicious food that a city has to offer. I am also fortunate to have a loyal companion - my Shiba Inu, who has been by my side for many years.
